GEM+ MS 66 1922 Grant Memorial Gold Dollar with Star on coin in a new NGC holder. This coin was struck during 1922 as a centenary souvenir of the birth of Ulysses S. Grant. The Philadelphia mint produced just over 5,000 of the Star version of these gold coins in 1922. Laura Gardin Fraser designed this coin which has a Grant on the obverse and the frame house in Point Pleasant, Ohio where he was born on April 28, 1822 is on the reverse.
