Variety: V-2B

This coin is highly lustrous and deeply, but attractively toned. The strike is quite good, and the reverse shows the full network of die cracks described for the V-2B variety. (But there are later states with more cracks; designated V-2c by Cummins)

I purchased this coin from Numismatic Americana (Bill Shamhart) at the June 2013 Baltimore show. At the time, it was the most I had paid for any coin, and it was worth it.
