Before I purchased this coin in a Heritage auction, it had appeared in two prior Heritage auctions. Each of those times it was in a different PCGS holder, both times as MS 66. The second one also had a green CAC sticker. Apparently, a previous owner/dealer thought it might upgrade at PCGS. When it did not, it was then submitted to CAC. Then it was submitted to NGC where it received a grade of MS 66 again, but with the well-deserved PL qualifier.
