Owner Comments:
CAC - The 1854-D gold dollar is an elusive issue from a mintage of just 2,935 pieces, all struck in August 1854. Doug Winter estimates the surviving population at 85-95 specimens in all grades. This piece displays orange-gold surfaces with attractive accents of rose.
