O.101 R1. Tied with three or four other examples for the third finest known. The small 9 overdate is tough to find in high grade. Lovely original toning and colorful underlying luster. The central obverse and most of the reverse has natural light grey patina with periphral cartwheel luster. Old Green Holder. Of the six 1819 overdates only this variety has a small 9 in the date. I grade this gem MS65 but I enjoy antiquated holders. Obtained on ebay on June 7, 2012, surprisingly, perhaps the only coin in this entire set from that modern day bourse.
