Owner Comments:

The 1949-S is among the scarcest in the six-year series with a mintage of only 6,000 pieces. High grade examples are very rare with this being the only coin certified in MS67 by PCGS and none finer at either of the major services. This is a remarkably clean coin that is brilliant throughout with thick mint frost that rolls across each side.
