The 2010 P Yellowstone National Park Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin is the second coin released (05/17/2011) in the AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL FIVE OUNCE SILVER UNCIRCULATED COIN SERIES.

First established as a national site on March 1, 1872 (17 Stat. 32), Yellowstone National Park was the World's First National Park. Located in the states of Wyoming (96%), Montana (3%), and Idaho (1%), Yellowstone has an area of 3,472 square miles larger than the states of Rhode Island and Delaware combined. Yellowstone is home to a large variety of wildlife, including bald eagles, grizzly bears, lynxs, wolves, bison and elk. Preserved within the park are Old Faithful and a collection of the world's most extraordinary geysers. Truely one of America's National Treasures Yellowstone has been designated both a "World Heritage Site" and a "Biosphere Reserve Site".

The reverve of the 2010 P Yellowstone National Park Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin features the Old Faithful geyser with a mature bull bison in the foreground. Inscriptions are YELLOWSTONE, WYOMING, 2010 and E PLURIBUS UNUM. The reverse was designed and sculpted by Don Everhart, United States Mint Sculptor-Engraver.
