Mintage of 100,000. The key to the shillings. Very hard to find. I see these for sale every now and then but they all seem to be ugly low grade dogs. I had this one grade by ANACS years ago and was very happy when it came back a AU-53, my notes show I was thinking a XF-45 or maybe a AU-50. I broke it out not to long ago and sent it to NGC where it came back a XF-40. My guess with the NGC submit was a AU-50. Oh well, It is a nice looking XF-40 with the obv. haveing old dark toning of gray, blue, gold, and magenta flowing over it. The reverse is more of the same but less gray and the bull untoned. There is one bad rim ding at 6:00 reverse which I'm sure is why NGC put the lower grade on it.
