Owner Comments:

In 2009 a decision was to modify the reverse of the Sacagawea dollar on an annual basis. The coin shown above is called "the three sisters" and depicts a Native America woman planting corn. Subsequent designs have been called “the great law” and “the Wampanoag Treaty.” For reasons known only to government officials the date and mint mark was moved to the edge in incuse letters and numbers.
