Owner Comments:
From a small mintage of 12,004, and with an estimated net distribution of about 7,000 coins, the surviving population in MS 66 and in superb gem grade makes the 51D BTW a more common date in the series. This coin is uncommonly nice featuring very clean devices and fields along with bright lustrous surfaces that have deep reflectivity. BTW's jaw is extremely clean without the typical planchet flaws found on many BTW's. A wonderful light golden patina blankets the entire coin with the legends showing a slighter greater color intensity. Superior eye appeal and CAC certified.
Population PCGS 197 (2+), 8 in 67, NGC 170 (1* &; 1+),34 in 67(1+), CAC 23, 5 in 67.
