1942-S STRIKE: Possibly the weakest struck date in the short set. Weak is the rule on both obverse and reverse.1942-S LUSTER: consistently the 42-S with luster is seen as bright and frosty, satiny examples are hard to find.SHORT SET RANK OF GRADED GEMS: 2nd out of 20 (2nd fewest)
