I purchased this coin from bsshog40, Bobby, off of ebay on 11-11-07 for $210. It struck my fancy since it is my birthyear.Bobby's ebay quote:"1965 Business Strike Jefferson Nickel. "This is not an SMS strike"! This is graded MS67 by NGC. This is a TOP POP coin. Only One graded by PCGS and 37 graded by NGC. PCGS Numismedia value is $5,000.00. The PCGS coin sold for over $6,000.00 thru Heritage Auctions. NGC is not able to place a Numismedia value as to the limited amount of auctions that this type year and high grade have sold for. If you have a Jefferson registry, this would make a great addition.
