Very Nice Superb GEM MS 67 1944 D FB Winged Liberty Head "Mercury" Dime in a new NGC holder. This coin is silky white with Full Split Bands (FB) and a nice sharp strike. The Denver mint produced just over 62.2 Million dimes in 1944. This dime has the desired FB designator and the composition is .900 silver and .100 copper with an overall weight of 2.50 grams. Most of these coins graded to date by NGC are at the GEM (MS 66) level or below. NGC FB Base: Total 4592 / Same 1164 / Better 20
