NGC graded MS 64 BN
Variety: N-6
This is a nice average 64BN cent. At first glance, numerous flaws are apparent. But they are all tiny raised lumps caused by the use of a rusted obverse die. The surfaces are actually pretty clean, and the luster is good.
I obtained this coin at the November 2010 show in Baltimore. I had been hoping to get an MS63BN ex-Holmes 1828 cent a dealer had at the previous Baltimore show. After he told me it had been sold, I was very pleased to find this coin, perhaps not as nice, but graded higher and priced lower.
