Owner Comments:

The 1929-D is only marginally better struck than the 1929-S. Saying that this present coin is attractively frosted on the central devices and well struck for the date is an understatement. This has the sharpest, fullest thumb that I have EVER seen on this issue with FULL skirtlines, breast feathers and also fields and devices that are crystal clear. Only one or two minute marks. How this didn't end up in a MS 66 holder is beyond me, b/c it looks better than most MS 65s that I've ever seen.

Luster is BLAZING and 99.999% white---gorgeous silver luster with only the slightest suggestion of toning. I like to cherrypick but this one has exceeded all realistic expectations of a nice MS 64 by leaps and bounds. PCGS

Population (301/227). NGC Census: (178/89). Mintage: 1,001,200--
