Owner Comments:

O.101a R1. Tied with several for finest known for the die variety. Later die state with larger reverse crack (this crack is present on all know specimens of O.101). Obtained by private treaty with Dave Olmstead of Alpine Numismatics on 5/17/2010. Per Dave Olmstead, "beautiful original tone with iridescent colors mostly at periphery. Often mis labeled with small letters being called large letters and sometimes vice versa. Pop= is still very low: 6/2. We can only find a record for one other PCGS64 which sold for 4888 4/06. A great deal. Just 50% more than the very common small letters." I find small nick on drapery. in my words, "lovely peripheral color with flashy cartwheel luster"
