The 1982 Jefferson (Philly & Denver) Jefferson-Mintstate Nickles:
The "P" mintmark returned in 1980, but this time it was on the obverse, near the date.judging from what
I've seen in population, there isn't really to many of them encapsulated thru Pcgs or Ngc. I haven't seen
any on ebay yet. Reference has told me this 1982-P Nickel is scarce, especially in a higher uncirculated
and Mint-State grades. I also found interesting is the fact that, the 1982 and 1983 dates, there was no yearly
mint-sets made during these years.
These dates have not attracted as much attention as some of the others,but the fact remains (no mint-sets)
in either year and if there are no additional supplies of these. There is nowhere to begin a search for them.
I believe these dates deserves recognition to this Jefferson Series.
