Owner Comments:
An outstanding top end example of a Connecticut commemorative with lovely eye appeal of which these photos fail to capture. The obverse has lustrous honey-gold, peach, and lime toning that enriches this shimmering and sharply struck representative. The Charter Oak side appears pristine and the base has a cool light lime green shading. Most of the obverse rim has a nice concentric rim toning of red, green and orange. The reverse is nicely toned with less color possessing golden lustrous hues. While the eagle has a few minor abrasions, there is no friction on the wing nor the base of the Charter Oak.
