Owner Comments:
This Huguenot is a condition consensus population coin, a PCGS plate coin, and has a dynamic pedigree from two of the finest registry sets ever assembled. This brilliant and superb gem possesses a warm golden glow on both the obverse and reverse. Of note, George Morgan, the former chief engraver of the U.S. mint completed engravings of the Huguenot designs before his death. Back to this coin, there are virtually no marks on this remarkably preserved gem specimen.
Provenances to both the Bruce Scher & WPE collections.
Population: PCGS: 46 in MS67 (includes 5 in 67+), 1 in 68. NGC: 41 in 67 ( with 4 in 67*). CAC: 4 in 67. (10-12)
