Owner Comments:

Designed by Chester Beech and coined in Philadelphia from a small mintage of only 10,000 coins, the Hudson remains a key date from the classic commemorative set. This coin is among the finest featuring excellent surfaces with few nicks seen under a loupe, especially the high relief ship sails which are especially clean for the type. A warm golden glow emanates from the lustrous surfaces. In addition, there is some very lovely rose, emerald, and blue peripheral colors seen at the date and on the obverse rims from 5:00 to 7:00 Only six coins have been graded higher by PCGS. CAC certified.

Population:PCGS 195,only 6 higher in 67,NGC 142(3*), with 27 in 67 (3*). CAC 35, 0 higher.
