VAM-41A PCGS MS65 DMPL WEAK 7/8This is the typical 7/8 variety that is available in DMPL. Still, mixed tail feather varieties are quite tough in gem DMPL, and are very coveted by 1878 collectors. The uncertified population for 1878 high-grade DMPLs is trivial at this point. The auction appearance frequency, low pop report counts and resubmission overcounts taken with this and the demand make this a highly desirable coin.This specimen is nicely struck and presents a wonderful cameo appearance. The mirrors are quite deep and the contrast spectacular.Tied with four others as the finest certified.
