Owner Comments:
This Alabama is the slightly rarer 2X2 variety. An attractive,very lustrous, and overall clean coin. The obverse has a very subtle gold patina on the top edges, while the reverse is blazing white. The surfaces are very clean. Kilby's portrait shows no friction but has a couple of light nicks setting the grade. The reverse is very clean with a good strike overall seen in details on eagle's talons and arrows.
