Owner Comments:

John Quincy Adams was the first president to be the son of another President, John Adams. Like his father, he loved poetry. He is the only President to name a son George Washington Adams. Oddly enough he is also the only president that after the presidency ran for a seat in the House of Representatives and won. He devoted himself to fighting slavery.
