This DPL 1879-CC is covered with a deep frost which in turn gives this Morgan a nice cameo appearance against the nicely mirrored fields. This coin produces a Black and white look when it is tilted just right. The Vam variety is 4 with the closed nine and tilted left C. The 1879-CC is very elusive in DPL with 11 graded in MS64 and only one graded higher in MS65 at NGC.
