Why did Madison's friends say he was "no bigger than a half piece of soap"? Because he stood only five feet four inches and weighed less than one hundred pounds, making him America's smallest President. Small man but big deeds for he earned the title of "Father of the Constitution" because many ideas were his and he drafted the Bill of Rights.
