Owner Comments:

The first coin listed in this 21st Century Type set is the Lincoln Cent that was first minted in 1909. The reverse had been changed to the Lincoln Memorial in 1959 to celebrate the 150th Birth Anniversary of President Abraham Lincoln. In 1982 due to the rising cost of copper, the composition was changed to 2.5% copper with the rest 97.5% zinc. The size of this coin is 3/4 inch in diameter. This particular NGC graded PF70 UC 2005-S Lincoln Cent was purchased in Dec 2008. The coin is so perfect could not find any reason not to give the highest grade.
