Owner Comments:

A nice strong strike with clean surfaces and mostly even color, luster is subdued due to a rather heavy dark toning layer and is what kept this example from gem status. Still a very pleasing example with flashes of mint red that frame the devices and lettering. This date/mm is a semi key date which is difficult to obtain in gem grades especially in full red color. Sent to CAC where it received a green bean. Housed in a PCGS holder that is listed as generation 4 on the PCGS site; and listed in the Conder101 reference book as generation 8.1.
