Owner Comments:

A pleasing coin with a fair amount of die polish seen on the rev surfaces which the camera lens represents as the darker areas. Very solid for the grade but not superior as the reverse strike is just a touch less than full. The 1955-S is one of the dates that can be easily found in the high gem grades and I have been keeping my eyes open for a nicer example. Housed in an NGC 9th generation holder.
