1882-CC GSA $1 NGC MS-66, (2 in MS-67, none higher)**There are also 10 in MS-66PL, and 2 in MS-66DPL.This coin was originally listed by GSA as “Non-Uncirculated”. The reverse is delicately layered with a light auburn tint and is very likely the reason why the GSA workers “downgraded” the coin. The obverse is smooth, brilliant white and contact marks are practically non-existent. A few tiny contact marks on the left half of the obverse may be all that kept the coin from the MS-67 grade. The strike is typically bold.With original box and certificate.
