1884 $5 PR66 Ultra Cameo NGC. Only one Proof 66 Ultra Cameo, by NGC, as of January 2008, with none finer. PCGS has yet to certify even one specimen at this lofty grade level. The overall rarity of this issue, at any level of preservation, can be demonstrated by the fact that, as of this writing, none have been auctioned by Heritage within the past 15 years.This is a spectacular piece without flaws or hairlines. If there were any question about this coin's proof status, it would be answered by the razor-sharp striking detail on every design element, and by the obvious deep mirror finish in the fields and heavy frost on the devices.
