1908 Made 5/12/05 CoC Chinatown Jewels 12/20/04 PCGS tg.119,678 pop 34,566/63,175, NGC tg. 132,620 pop 33,385/19,530 combined 67,951 /82,705 as mintage and the number of coins graded demonstrate the supply of this coin is ample enough to more than meet the needs of Saint-Gaudens No Motto $20 type collectors. Many were exported to Europe, stored in banks and are constantly returning stateside. Additionally a great hoard (19,900) were found stored in Wells Fargo's bank vaults (the Wells Fargo Hoard) resulting in large number of MS and Gem coins being made available. 2/3/14 PCGS lot# 8805 HA $2820.00, 2/3/14 NGC lot# 8805 HA $1762.50, 2/3/14 NGC lot# 4906 HA $4993.75, 2/27/14 NGC lot# 8543 HA $1997.50. Trends Sep/2005 low $720, May/2006/-Nov/ 07 ($1200-$1250), Feb/2008-Feb/09 ($1460-$1820),Dec/2009-Sep/2011 ($2400-$2590 high), Oct/2011-Feb/20013 ($2320-$2400), Aug/2013-Mar/14 ($1840) Value seem to follow that of bullion with a small numismatic premium.
