Plain 4, No Stems B-9, C-10, R.1. Manley State 3. The usual die state for the variety with a heavy ridge or crack distorting the upright of the R in AMERICA. The die state prevents the appearance of any border details, but the central obverse and reverse are sharp. Frosty brown surfaces with splashes of darker patina. EAC 55.
