Owner Comments:

In 1989, the US Mint issuied a series of commenmorative coins to celebrate the 200th Anniversary of Congress. A clad half dollar was included in this set. The observe shows the bust of the Statue of Freedom while the reverse shows the full view of the Capitol surrounded with 13 stars. The mintage of the uncirculated version is about 164 thousands.
