The proof version of the coin is absolutely stunning. The coin bears the regular 2007 platinum proof design with the obverse bearing a portrait of Liberty looking towards the future. The reverse design celebrates the executive branch of the government, depicting a bald eagle with its wings spread wide with a ready shield. The bald eagle represents freedom while the shield represents enforcement of laws that guarantee that freedom.
