This is a very tough coin to find with a full strike on both the obverse and reverse. Quality continues to a problem at San Francisco, usually encountered with very weak obverse and/or reverse strikes this example boasts far better than average quality. It does however have another common issue for this date and that is a couple of spots and the tone steak on the reverse plus the color that is more tan then red. While much better than many of the survivors this example lacks the eye appeal to reach the gem status that the strike deserves. With all that it is still a fine coin and I'm happy to have it in the collection. Housed in a PCGS holder that is listed as generation 4.1 on the PCGS site; and listed in the Conder101 reference book as generation 12.
