Series I, The Rat, Strange how they issued the last 3 years in advance and are already issuing a new Rat coin. No Colorized version was made for this coin. The Silver Lunar Rat is based on the Chinese Zodiac Calendar. Those born in “The Year of the Rat” are said to be quick witted, generous, loyal and have excellent taste. These Silver Lunar Rat legal tender coins contain .9999 fine silver. The obverse displays an image of Queen Elizabeth II and the reverse an image of a rat depicting the Chinese Lunar year.
