1923-S 50C Monroe MS65 NGC. This is a coin of singular beauty for three reasons: its luster, the dazzling brilliance over each side, and the lack of any mentionable abrasions. The mint luster is bright and highly frosted, its effect undiminished by the total lack of toning on either side. Perhaps the most atypical aspect, though, are the remarkably clean surfaces. A coin worthy of consideration for a serious set of commemoratives.(Registry values: N1793)
