1921 50C Missouri 2x4 MS65 NGC. This commemorative half dollar issue was created in order to help celebrate the 100th anniversary of Missouri statehood. The incused "24" in the left obverse field indicates that Missouri was the 24th state admitted to the Union. This Gem example is well struck and entirely brilliant. Faint die lines are noted in the fields, but surface blemishes are virtually nonexistent.(Registry values: N2998)
