1927 (Philadelphia) MS64

The '27 issue is one of four in the Peace series with a mintage of less than a million coins. Even with a relatively small population, there are many well-struck uncirculated coins with few bag marks. Gems in MS65 or better, however, are fairly rare, and also fairly expensive.

This coin is bright white with good luster and a strong strike. It has just a few too many small chatter marks to achieve a grade of MS65
