Owner Comments:

An outline of Texas with a 5-pointed star are featured on the coin. On either side of the state a rope curves around the coin's outer rim, recalling the cattle drives of the 1800s. An inscription, THE LONE STAR STATE, is at the lower left, and at the top between the two ropes, TEXAS and 1845, the date the state joined the Union.
