Owner Comments:

San Francisco did better this year as the coins were much better executed and tended to have much better luster as well when compared to previous years. And while this example does have a sharp strike with clear surfaces the luster is muted due to a heavy brown tone layer. The reverse is much darker than I like but still a tougher branch mint date to find. There are two mint mark styles for this date, large and small. This example is the small date, note how the top serf is behind the curve of the S. The large mm top serf is even or slightly past the curve.
