Owner Comments:

The reverse provides spectacular contrast between the ice-white devices and the darkly
mirrored field. The obverse contrast is nearly as remarkable, although the borders show light milky-gray toning. The strike is complete on the often-soft fletchings and claws, and even the right shield corner has pleasing definition. Pristine aside from a brief thin mark beneath obverse star 7, which will identify future appearances of this impressive proof Barber type coin. Only 731 proofs were struck. Census: 10 in 68 Ultra Cameo, 1 finer (10/06).
