Owner Comments:
One of a few prooflikes in the set. Population 10/0, in an old fattie holder. This is not one of those all too common cleaned NCS coins that has been stripped to semi-prooflike "perfection." The pops have creeped up in the PL category, but this one is better than the few others that I have seen. This coin is blessed with attractive, peripheral toning in golds & russet, with some reds & pale green. The white centers have a bit of gold and light milky bluish cast at certain angles that are typical of original old proofs and prooflike coins. Few marks for the grade, as is often the case with older slabs, but not quite clean enough for a 67. As much as I like my D mint RI in 67, I like this one even more, even if it criminally gets awarded less registry points.
