Owner Comments:

A difficult coin to find in the gem grades especially with a full mint red color. This coin exhibits a strong strike, mellowed mint red color with ample luster that lies beneath a light mellowed tone. Just a few minor toning spots on the obverse of mark free surfaces are noted for completeness. Housed in an NGC 5th generation "Fatty" holder, this was the last of the NGC holders that have been come to know as "fatties". These holders got that name as these were much thicker than the holder in use by PCGS at the same time. I sent to CAC where this received a green bean.
