John R. Sinnock (whose initials JS are at the trunication of the neck) designed this dime with a portrait of Franklin D. Roosevelt. Weight is 2.27gms, composition of outer layers copper-nickel (.750 copper,.250 nickel)bonded to an inner core of pure copper: diameter 17.9mm; reeded edge. This coin is a perfect proof example in Proof 70 Ultra Cameo.
