This is the first official coin in any of my registry set. I purchased this one by accident. Thinking this was a 1931-S I bid furiously on it only to discover it was a 31-D. I was embarrased, certainly not now though. This coin led to the beginning of my collecting registry set quality coins. The embarrassment turned to joy and led to this wonderful new aspect of collecting. One that I am extremely proud of. What a thrill...all from a mistake.
