1908 Motto
This quite common St.Gaudens double eagle is MS-62 graded by ngc.

Obverse:This coin strike is not so good. The breast (one of the high point of this design) is a bit flat if you look it under a good light. Same bag marks are on the focal area of the coin like the upper part of the miss Liberty dress and same other on the legs. All this bag marks are not distracting but present. Details are excellent on the face but the dress for the soft strike is not detailed as i usually like. Fortunately field around the Liberty is really clear and quite impressive. Rays are well striked but same bag marks are present. Luster is the good point of this coin, it's excellent and round perfectly expecially on the field.

Reverse:Also the reverse suffer a bit of weak striking, in particolar on the feathers just behind the eagle neck. The rest of the eagle is excellent also on the upper borders of the wings (usually another high point of the design that suffer wickness while striking). The field presents same very light marks but not distracting while the rays present marks. Other detracting marks are present under the motto. Like the obverse luster is excellent.
