Owner Comments:

Prior to the early 1960's, this date was considered to be the key date to the Morgan series and I never expected to own one in any grade. High grade specimens were nearly non existent before a large number of uncirculated coins were released from U. S. government vaults. Prices plunged, and I was able to add a mint state example of this date to my Morgan Dollar set for just $15.
