Owner Comments:
Mint Engraver, John R. Sinnock submitted the models of this design only a few weeks before his death in May of 1947. The series was minted from 1948 through 1963. I like a little toning (for originality) but so many of the high grade FBL Franklins came out of mint sets (as I'm sure this one did) and are toned to the max. This example is more to our taste. Acquired from a Heritage online auction.
