Owner Comments:

A beautiful and unique pattern of light yellow, gold, original silver white, and bright russet on both sides with some cherry red, green, and blue highlights near the rims. The toning imparts a 3D quality to the devices on the coin, in same manner as the Iowa in this set. The highest points on either side are white, perhaps where the coin was touching the toning source and air transfer toning could not take place. This coin deserves a * in my opinion, and that's why it's important to buy the coin and not the holder. Your preferences are different than mine, so don't miss out on a coin you like because it isn't the right grade to get a lot of points, or the coin doesn't appeal as much to the NGC graders and did not get a star. This is not elementary school where it was fun to have the teacher stick small stars on your test paper. Buy the coins YOU love, not what I say is pretty or NGC says is pretty. Chances are some other folks will like your set too, or at least admire it because it reflects your passion for the hobby, your point of view, and your hard work at the hunt!
